This microrobot is a novel design of walking motion powered by an electromagnetic actuator. The robot has been built by a rapid prototiping machine and permanent magnets.
The design of a microrobot with many legs of passive module can produces the walking motion similarly to centipede. The locomotion path can be controlled on flat terrain on any direction.
