This microrobot is a novel design of wheeled-legged motion powered by an electromagnetic actuator. The robot has been built by a rapid prototiping machine and permanent magnets.

By using the magnetic field the robotic cockroach can move to any direction and climb small obstacles. The idea comes to develop a alternative walking micro-robots able to move wirelessly with a away source power and control.
