The omniwheel-dc platform is constructed with 4 active omnidirectional wheels powered by dc motors placed at 90 degrees. This type of robots has a high possibility of wheel slippery making difficult to obtain an accurate target position.

The robot is compoused with a hinge structure in order to keep all four wheels in fully contact with the surface.
